Single Series

Starting in 2023, I began placing less emphasis on series-based projects and instead approaching projects on a case-by-case basis.

 

After beginning my first full-time job, I suffered the worst artist block I have ever experienced. I believed I would never make art again. And if this was the case, I could not live in this world. This taught me that creative practice, free of form, is where the significance lies.

 

As early as drawing turtles at age four, this has been the reason I pick up a pencil. This is the reason I sing. This is the reason make pictures. It is engrained in my being. Creation is my purpose. And if I want to live, I  must foster it at any cost.

 

And so, anymore, I allow myself to create freely.
